Salthill is a small resort with amusements, a leisure centre and sandy beaches. 10-minute drive from the hotel, 25-minute walk or accessible by bus route from front of hotel.

Aran Islands - Inis Mor Inis Meain Inis Orr
Group of three islands located in the Atlantic Ocean boasting some of Ireland's most impressive landscape. Located 50 minutes' drive from the hotel to Rossaveal, and 40 minutes' ferry ride. Serviced by a number of main agents who provide coach-and-ferry tickets, or ferry-only tickets. Pick-ups are made from the hotel. Approximately €25 return per adult. Cars cannot be taken.
Atlantaquaria
National Aquarium, located one mile from city in Salthill. 25-minute walk or five-minute drive from the hotel. Accessible by bus route from outside the hotel.
Glengowla Mines
Located outside Oughterard, these are Ireland's only show mines. 30 minutes' drive from the hotel.
Rinville Park
Located just outside Oranmore, this park surrounds a stately home. 15 minutes' drive from the hotel and admission is free.
Kylemore Abbey and Gardens
Home of the Irish Benedictine nuns. Located on the N59 in north Connemara. One-hour drive from the hotel.
Connemara National Park
Admission costs €2.75 per adult and it is located just outside Letterfrack in Connemara.
